Dr. Ghania Aklil

MD, Ph.D. – Chief Pathologist

MD Ghania Aklil is the chief pathologist responsible for steering BMS active portfolio in the field. She holds an MD as well as a PhD specializing in pathological anatomy from the University of Algiers and has more than 16 years of experience in the field of pathological anatomy. She completed her residency at the Pierre and Marie Curie Algiers center,  performing her thesis work on molecular classification of breast cancer. She has set up and developed new pathological anatomy laboratories in hospital structures in Algeria. She is a member of the national mammary pathology committee as well as a member of the Algerian society of mammary pathology.
